Ethical Statement

There is much discussion around the supply of crystals and how ethical it is in practice. At Coco and Luna ethicality and the need for transparency throughout the entire supply chain is something that is at the foundation of everything we do. We have spent many months building up a trusted network of suppliers who can provide full traceability for their items. In many cases we work directly with theminers who find the raw crystals and then carve into our requested shape. Keeping the supply chain small enables us to keep costs lower for some crystals than other stores as we can cut out the middleman or two, allowing us to pass that saving onto you.

At Coco and Luna, low cost does definitely not equal an unethically sourced crystal! All our product pages detail where the crystal was mined but if you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to message us at

Our crystals are priced fairly to reflect the fair-trade sourcing that operates throughout our supply chain. It is extremely important to us to know that working conditions for all are acceptable and a fair wage is received.

We are strongly committed to use sustainable packaging. Wherever possible, materials used when shipping your order are recyclable, biodegradable or can be reused. All our jewellery boxes are FSC certified. This means all materials come from FSC forests, where no more wood is cut down than the forest can reproduce. This increases the protection of the animal and plant life in the forest. It also guarantees all foresters have proper training, safety equipment and a decent wage.
